A Cape Cod charter fishing captain was managing his entire operation through phone calls, text messages, and a basic website builder. During peak season, he was losing bookings to scheduling conflicts — two parties calling about the same date, no way to track who had priority.
He was spending hours on admin instead of on the water: manually tracking inquiries in spreadsheets, sending deposit requests by hand, calling back every person who filled out a contact form. He had zero visibility into his business performance — no idea which months were most profitable, which trips were most popular, or how his website was performing.
He needed a complete replacement, not a plugin or a template. He needed something that could run his entire season.
A full-stack operations platform, built from scratch
We built two interconnected systems: a public-facing website optimized for search and conversion, and a private admin dashboard that runs the entire operation behind it.
The public site features trip details, real-time availability, photo gallery, and inquiry forms that flow directly into the booking pipeline. The admin dashboard gives the captain a bird's-eye view of his business: all active inquiries, bookings in progress, confirmed trips, and deposits received.
